Needed: teacher assignment blogs

I am putting out a call for teachers to put their assignments in a blog form. This way I will have access to their assignments and be able to easier collaborate. Also, when the students come to me for help, I will be better informed to what resources they need. If any of you teachers need help with this, please comment on this post.

5th grade literature group asignment 1 continued

One more thing. Please submit a three paragraph biography on the authors concerning the books you have chosen. This might come in handy for the compare and contrast.

I hope the reading on your novels is going well. Next Monday when you come to the library, be prepared to discuss why you chose the two books. This will be an informal discussion. Be prepared to write a poem describing our discussion.

Assignment #1 addition

Sorry group for the lack of clarity in the assignment. I would think that you would rush out and have the books read by Tuesday, but i guess i am a dreamer. First the books have to be read by March 8th. Secondly, they can be any Newberry winner no matter how old. You must remember that good literature never dies. Happy reading.
